Nothing here is heavy, and that is the problem.

A workstation is set up once and then used ten thousand times. A reach that is five centimetres too far costs nothing on the first day and everything by the end of the year. Nobody feels the day it started.

This is the shortest of the handling trainings and the one that fits into a shift change. It is for line and assembly staff, and for the people who set their stations up.

What a team does in it

One run, three parts. A team can go back to any of them as often as it needs, and most do.

    A team runs the normal cycle and feels where the reach, the twist and the hold actually sit.

    Change one thing

    They move the bin, the height or the sequence, and run the same cycle again to see what it did.

    They put into words what the station needs, in the form the person who can change it will act on.
