Construction sites.

One of the eight clusters your risk assessment already uses. This page holds the trainings behind it and what a team practises in them.

The hazard moves with every phase of the build.

A site is never the same place twice. In the first weeks the danger is the excavation and the ground around it. Later it is the edges, the openings and everything that hangs above someone's head. The trades change, the machines change, and the crew that was briefed in March is half new by August.

That is why a single briefing at handover does not hold. More people die on construction sites than in any of the other seven clusters — 63 in a year, according to the DGUV. A team can practise the phase it is standing in, again at the next one, without the site stopping for it.

What a team practises here

Each training is one task on a live site, at the phase where it actually happens. The time is a single run, from the first word to the last, and it is what tells you whether it fits into a shift.

Teams in construction meet this cluster next to falls from height and slips, trips and falls — their industry page starts from all three at once.

Take one phase of your site and run it.

Bring the part of your assessment that covers the build itself. We pick one phase from it and go through the training start to finish, the same version your people would get.
