Slips, trips and falls
Housekeeping and walkways, plant floor
5–10 min per run
One of the eight clusters your risk assessment already uses. This page holds the trainings behind it and what a team practises in them.
Nothing here looks like a hazard. A cable laid across a walkway for one shift, a spill that someone will get to, a step that sits two centimetres higher than the one before it. Every one of them is in plain sight, and every one of them gets walked past.
It adds up to 164,912 reportable accidents in a single year, according to DGUV figures, and they are spread across offices, wards, sites and halls rather than sitting in one trade. That is a reason to take the cluster seriously; it is not an instruction. What changes anything is whether a person still reads the floor while carrying a box and thinking about the next task.
Each training is one place where the floor decides what happens next — a route, a surface, a change of level. The time is a single run, from the first word to the last, and it is what tells you whether it fits into a shift.

This cluster sits in the list of every industry we work with — the industry pages start from it alongside the two hazards that belong to that trade alone.
Pick the route your people take most often, the one that shows up in your assessment under floors and walkways. We go through the training for it start to finish, the same version your people would get.
